Mayfield is camp run for Grades 7-9 on a farm property on the East Coast of Tasmania. Campers will spend the week enjoying the outdoors, learning about Jesus, and making new friendships which will last a lifetime.

Campers will experience a range of fun outdoor activities including flatwater kayaking (under the supervision of qualified instructors), playing games on the vast farm property, swimming at the beach, cooking around camp fires, and camping in tents. All activities are suited for a range of abilities.

On Mayfield 2018, campers will discover who Jesus is through studying the book of Zechariah in small discussion groups, and through talks given by Mark North, the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at St Clements Anglican Church. They will also have a chance to learn about Jesus through singing together, and hearing leader’s testimonies.

Mayfield is a camp for everyone – whether you are a follower of Jesus or not. Whether you love the outdoors, or don’t have much experience camping at all - the Mayfield team eagerly invites you to come spend the best week of your summer with them at Mayfield!

Jordan Green and Mark North

Jordan is currently studying Maths and Physics at the University of Tasmania, and works as a men’s gymnastics coach and judge. He enjoys telling people about Jesus, being active outdoors, and listening to good music. Jordan began following Jesus at a young age, and is still captivated by what Jesus has done, and strives to live his life in light of it. He is an active member of Wellspring Anglican Church, where he is involved in many ministries, including coordinating the Grades 3-6 youth group. Jordan also serves as a member of the Fellowship group team with the University Fellowship of Christians, witnessing to the students at the Sandy Bay campus. He has been involved with Anglican Camping Tasmania for many years, and is looking forward to once again taking on the role of director for Mayfield 2018.

Mark works at St Clements Anglican as their Youth and Young Adults minister. I’m Mark… There’s a lot of things I love in this world: coffee; dark chocolate; cycling… and my family too! My wife Morgan is amazing and together we have four crazy kids! But my greatest love is for God! I think it’s amazing that there’s a God who made me… and even though I’ve tried to run things my own way, He wants a relationship with me and has done everything to make that possible! I can’t wait to get on Mayfield and tell you more about this awesome God who wants a relationship with you too!
